This Twin / Double room is named after Lady Hamilton the mistress of Lord Nelson who stayed in Southend for periods of a month or more in 1803 and 1805. The spacious en-suite is situated on the ground floor at the front of the property with views over Royal terrace, the pier and estuary. This elegant room features an original Georgian fire place and is full of character and charm.
Lady Hamilton gave a ball in honour of Admiral Lord Nelson in the Assembly Room of the Royal Hotel on the corner of the terrace and just a few doors down from Pier View.
